I haven't tried the new pair yet, but I've had these shoes before and they've always been good. Only disappointment was that the soles wore out quicker than I would have expected on the last pair.
Best all-around shoe I have used.
I already own the Katana lace shoe which I love, so to no surprise, these a great buy as well. These are my gym shoe with the ease of straps over my lace versions. I am very happy with my purchase.
might be narrower than the tc pro.
The La Sportiva Brand really fits my foot well and the Katana has a slightly aggressive shape but still very good for all day gym climbing. I liked the Velcro for ease of taking the shoes on and off between climbs.
For those with wider, low-volume feet, these (and La Sportiva lasts in general) seem to be a better fit.
Right now I'm using the shoes for indoor climbing. Hoping to use them outdoors soon. Can't really comment on quality until I use them for a while, but for now they seem pretty good.
