La Sportiva all the way. Great product, speedy delivery and hopefully little stretch. Will be testing these out in El Potrero Chico, Mexico! As a trad climber getting into sport, these shoes provide the comfort required for multipitch and the edge required for sport.
The La Sportiva Miuras are my third climbing shoe. I would recommend these to climbers who have been climbing for at least one year as they are quite aggressive. They are great for bouldering. I wear these in a size 39 while my street shoes are typically a size 40.5. I could probably go down half a size, but these are working for the problems I am doing right now.

Miuras are my current favorite sport climbing shoe. I use them when I am leading something at my limit, and perform slightly better than Katanas. I docked a star not for performance, but for some other things. It is amazing how my feet stick to things that look insecure. When I first started climbing I thought Miuras would be too aggressive for my flat feet, but I just size it up. My foot (size 4.5 womens/34.5-35) can fit a size 33 after breaking in, but I prefer size 34. At first it feels large, but then it conforms to my foot. I'm going to try a size 33.5, also bought from GearCoop. I wear a size 33.5 in Katanas. Oddly enough, size 33 in Katanas are too small even after breaking in. After wearing, the toe area does buckle a bit because it is so downturned, and our feet are flat, making the shoes look used. Another small issue is the 2 non leather Velcro straps have started to show wear, and I'm far from my first resole.
The Miura VS is my favorite all-round climbing shoe! It fits perfectly and doesn't require a break-in time period. This is my second pair. \n\nMy first pair of Miura VS climbing shoes lasted about 8 months. I do about 100 days outside a year, so probably 50-60 days in the first pair. I'll probably get them resoled and use them in the gym.
this is my first pair of aggressive shoes. Although I have not yet broke mine in I have tried my friends exact pair, they were great! Solid friction
