This is my 5th pair of Trangos. I use them hard; lots of miles, lots of scree and talus. They fit great, have plenty of ankle support, and are sticky enough for scrambling. They are cold if you hike in snow but they aren't really a winter boot. My only real complaint is that I wish they lasted longer. The last pair I used for 3 seasons but I think it is better to replace them after 2 seasons in terms of support and grippy-ness.

I work for *** and use these boots for late Spring, early Summer 30 day backpacking courses. \n
