Love this bag so far (I haven't had a chance to field test it yet). Materials and build are very good, it packs down very small, I'd say about 2/3 the size of a loaf of bread. Zipper is high quality too. The long version is a little long for my 6'1 frame, suspect I could have gotten away with the regular. Great bag overall.
Considering I haven't tested the North Face Furnacee 35F sleeping bag out in the field it is hard to give a detailed review, but from testing it indoors I am already impressed with this sleeping bag. It feels very comfortable (Long version). I am 6'1" and weigh 150lbs so it was kind of tough deciding which version to get but I am glad I went with the long. There's plenty of room for me so I dont feel cramped. I recommend this sleeping bag for anyone trying to pack lighter and save room. Not to mention, I couldn't beat the price Gear Coop offered! I plan on buying a Sea to Summit dry compression sack for this to make it even smaller than the bag it comes in. I am really looking forward to testing this beauty out this summer. My girlfriend and I are taking a road trip to Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Glacier, Waterton (Alberta, Canada) and more. Hope this helps! Cheers!
