Sensitive. Aggressive. Affordable. The X1 offers more sensitivity and feel than any shoe on the market without breaking the bank. Built on a medium volume, downturned and down cambered last, the X1 is built for training hard in the gym and sending hard outside. The single hook and loop strap closure makes it easy to get on and off. The Trax SAS outsole and massive toe patch give the X1 a true sock fit and feel on the wall without sacrificing a secure fit.
  • Sensitive EX-P midsole
  • High tension heel rand
  • Single hook and loop closure system

Good toe, loose heel, wonky sizing

Loved the concept of the shoe. A soft single strap slipper with an ample toe patch from Evolv? Yes please! But the heel is reminiscent of the size of the old shaman heel, which does not fit my heel in any way shape or form. More high tension and wider than the new shaman heel, and rides high on the Achilles tendon. That being said if that kind of heel fits you the front of the shoe is exactly what you'd expect from Evolv; comfy, a bit wider, and not too pointed. And did I mention wonderfully soft? Sizing is way off from other Evolv shoes. Order a full size up from your street shoe, or a half size if you really hate your feet (not recommended). Five stars for the toe and one for the heel averages to three stars overall.
