Why would you pay $20 for a pair of socks!?!

Darn Tough Hiker Micro Crew Cushion Sock, Best pair of socks I've ever owned. Spent the last two years hiking with Merrino wool socks I picked off Amazon Prime due to the fear of spending $20 for a single pair of socks. Usually these pairs would only last 3-4 hikes before getting worn thin with full toe holes. Finally got around to dropping the money for a pair for quality socks, and I was not let down. Yes, $20 seems like waaay too much for a pair for socks. But for the fabric comfort, shape retention and compression after several hike/wash cycles, and lack of blisters after a long hike, I have no complaints spending that much on socks. :p
