The Glacier packs represent a new series of full-featured technical hiking packs that can double as everyday working daypacks. Named after glaciers; which are the harbingers of climate change, they serve as a daily reminder to ride to work, walk to the store and unplug. The Taku is named after a glacier southwest of Juneau, AK, which is thought to be the deepest and thickest glacier in the world. The Taku 24 lends itself very well to daily use in town and weekend use in the backcountry. The pack has a trio of compartments to keep your gear organized. An outer stretch pocket with vertical zipper gives quick and easy access to frequently needed items. A middle compartment with a zipper at the top offers secure storage for gear and has a hanging organizer with pen sleeves, and a pocket for a wallet, and a strap and clip for your keys. The larger main compartment will accomodate an extra layer and your lunch, plus a sleeve to hold a water bladder, tablet, or small laptop.
