The purpose of ACSD's Pocket Guide is to introduce climbers to San Diego County's three premier backcountry climbing destinations: Corte Madera, El Cajon Mountain, and Eagle Peak. Facing south, topping out at 400' to 500', and possessing Well-bolted impeccable granite routes, all three crags are Southern California multi-pitch climbing treasures which can be enjoyed from fall through spring. This 34 page mini-guide provides overview, directions, approach details, and topos. Additionally, this guide is intended to serve as an educational resource and provide general information and guidelines for both novice and experienced climbers alike. This guide was compiled by the Allied Climbers of San Diego (ACSD). ACSD is local, non profit climbers' advocacy organization whose primary goal is to promote and maintain access to climbing and outdoor recreation. Proceeds from the sale of this guide go to ACSD.
