Good basic carabiner

They aren't the lightest or fanciest carabiner out there, but they're good for lots of stuff. I don't climb, but I use them for attaching things like water bottles that I don't trust cheap unrated carabiners to hold. There's not much else to say, they're just a chunk of metal that clips onto things, I doubt it'll fail anytime soon, but again I don't climb with them.

They get the job done, but there are better options

I used these biners to rack my cams and alpine draws for years. They did a great job, but they certainly aren't anything special by today's standards. They're about 36g, so heavy for a racking biner these days compared to the cheap Trango Phase (30g), light BD Oz or DMM Phantom (27g), or ultralight Nano 22 (22g). They also tent to rotate around on cam slings more than newer racking biners. On the plus side, very durable.
