Geared specifically toward those looking to debut their skills in the high places, the Petzl Djinn Carabiner has your number. Wide gates help breed familiarity and nimbleness when clipping and unclipping. A keylock nose eliminates the possibility of snagged fumbling when it matters most and its H-shaped cross section cuts carry weight without compromising rugged strength. Two distinct versions give you needed options on the rock. The textured straight gate version ensures easy opening and can easily find work at the bolt end of a quickdraw. The bent gate version is made to simplify rope clipping. On your next rock assault take the Djinn along and clip with confidence, climb with trust.
  • Performance carabiner designed for a great outdoor climbing debut
  • H-Shaped cross section offers an improved strength/weight ratio
  • Wide gate opening facilitates clipping
  • Textured area on the straight gate version for improved grip when opening the carabiner
  • Strength: 23kN (Major); 8kN (Minor); 9kN (Open)

Great workhorse biner for sport climbing

If you're looking to put together your own draws, the Djinn is a great option for a 'biner that will clip nicely and hold up to lots of abuse. The Petzl Spirit is the gold standard, but they will wear a bit more quickly and are more expensive. I think the Djinn is too heavy for trad, where lighter wiregate biners are ideal.

We won't do anything without asking your permission first. These are your images, we just hope they can help future outdoor enthusiasts find the gear they need.
