The Booster S is a super-light, ultra-sensitive shoe for bouldering and sport climbing. A one-third length Vibram® sole creates a flexible shoe that allows more natural movement through overhanging, thin routes. The Tri-tension rand enhances powerful movements through dynamic problems by concentrating the strength of the foot through an asymmetrical support ribbon; driving energy to the forefoot. All of this adds up to create an extremely sensitive, flexible shoe ideal for moving fast over technical, steep and overhanging rock.

    Could be 4 stars

I have owned 2 pair, 41.5 and 42.5. I really like the shoe and it performs great but I’m not sure if I still need to go larger, maybe 43? After having owned several pair of scarpa the one thing I would recommend is to size a little larger than you normally would, maybe up a 1/2 size. The shoes edge and smear with the best of them, and heel hooks are no problem, but a strong toe hook doesn’t always feel right because of the shape of the toe box. Even for a tight pair of shoes these are pretty comfortable. I would definitely recommend them for steep sport routes and bouldering, just hope there aren’t a lot of toe hooks.
